About

The International School of Paphos (ISOP), established in 1987, is a progressive, private co-educational institution known for its innovative approach. Its modern facilities foster an engaging learning environment, supporting students in reaching their fullest potential. Beginning its growth in the late 1980s and '90s, ISOP experienced substantial expansion in the early 2000s, culminating in the completion of its purpose-built campus in 2006, located in Anavargos Village on the outskirts of Paphos.

Dedicated educators and staff at ISOP prioritize a comprehensive education, collaborating closely with families and the broader community. Following the English National Curriculum, the school enriches learning with diverse extracurricular pursuits while honoring the local culture. Catering to over 1000 students aged 2 ½ to 18, representing 40+ nationalities, including Cyprus, the UK, China, Russia, Ukraine, and various other countries, ISOP offers an exemplary educational experience.

Internationally recognized, ISOP undergoes regular inspections by the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sport, and Youth, and is an accredited examination center for CAIE, Edexcel/Pearson, and the Ellinomatheia exams from the Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki, Greece. Beyond IGCSE and GCE qualifications, graduates receive a widely recognised School Leaving Certificate (Apolytirion) accepted in Cyprus, the UK, and Europe.

Notably, ISOP holds the distinction of being an Ambassador School of the European Parliament, an ECO-School, a center for ECDL and LAMDA examinations, and a member of PASCH—a network of 'Partner Schools for the Future' established by the German Foreign Ministry and the Goethe Institute.
