Paidiki Hara

Paidiki Hara kindergarten in Nicosia is approved by the Ministry of Education.

Paidiki Hara is one of the few kindergartens whose Ministry of Education has approved all the departments in which it has jurisdiction, i.e all six departments, from three years old and up. The three sections of the kindergarten for children under the age of three (in which the Ministry of Education has no jurisdiction) are approved by the Ministry of Labor.

The kindergarten has modern facilities and one of the characteristics are the large classes size, their brightness, and large windows. The building is surrounded by gardens so children play in a beautiful natural environment. Furthermore, the linear park attached to the kindergarten offers more greenery and many opportunities for experiential learning.

Paidiki Hara aims to develop and cultivate skills of the modern age we live in (cooperation, creativity, social responsibility, thinking and problem-solving skills, metacognition, etc.). They recognize that every child is unique and special, therefore they respect the individual rhythms of each child and take into account his learning profile aiming at the development of the maximum of his possibilities. Paidiki Hara kindergarten relies on child-centered teaching methods. The child is the center of the educational process aimed at the experiential approach to knowledge.
